Great location and camping setup. We chose ghyll scrambling and kayaking as our activities and we were not disappointed. Provided with x2 big sleeping tipis and an 3rd tipie for weather permitted cover. Also fire pit an bbq with gas already set up in advance, views was great of surrounding areas. Showers and toilets provided were clean a warm. Couldn’t recommend enough! Booked for a stag and wasn’t disappointed. Great location, good communication, activities were well planned and the BBQ was great. The tents were excellent, we were even caught in a huge thunderstorm one evening but were kept perfectly warm and dry. Great position for hikes around Windermere and other activities in the Lake District. Tom organised us a BBQ feast for Friday night and a keg of beer and also activities for the whole day Saturday. All of our group commented how easy it all was and appreciated having our own space -- including having access to toilets and warm showers in the nearby outbuilding! Tom and the team were a real help finalising plans and welcoming us to site. The camp really is in a beautiful location. All the activities were well organised and the facilities were great. I have nothing but high praise for Tom and the Nomad team! From start to finish he was responsive, the price was competitive and so much was taken care of! We had a two night stag, keg of beer and BBQ! The bell tents and teepee were great, the location stunning and the facilities were excellent! Taxis in and out of Kendal were easy to arrange and despite some wet and windy weather we have a weekend to remember. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nomad to any groups looking for something different and memorable. 6 stars.
