 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Nomad Events to hire bell tents and a tipi at our own location for a group of families wanting to enjoy a camping weekend together. The bell tents made fantastic accommodation for us and really added to the experience.

Tom also arranged a water activity day for us, which was brilliant and provided lots of laughter and fun for everyone. We made a few changes to our initial booking, which were easily accommodated and communicated quickly and clearly.

I had my stag do booked with Nomad Events for the weekend just gone and booked the tipi and bell tents. BBQ hire with a BBQ feast selection and 2 activities with lunch on the Saturday.

Nomad events are the full package, everything you need and more covered all under one booking and one payment.
Definitely recommend anyone looking for a weekend away camping with some action filled days and some chilled evenings in a scenic very quiet location.

Tom was very helpful, communicative and professional throughout the whole experience and made the weekend very easy and stress free.

The private field was all we could have asked for as it meant we could have fun without disturbing others - bbq feast was brilliant and non were left hungry! We also booked 3 activities over the weekend with lots of adventure - Phil, Mark and CJ were great organisers who kept us going and were super knowledgable about all things adventure whilst being a great laugh. Location is beautiful - secluded with great views. Perfect for a group of 18 with no neighbours to worry about.

Tipis are spacious and comfortable (bring an inflatable mat to sleep on). BBQ food was generous and the ghyll scrambling was an absolute highlight - climbs, jumps, brilliant fun after a heavy night of BBQ'ing and drinking games.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently booked the Nomad campsite for a stag weekend in the Lake District, and it honestly couldn’t have been a better choice.

If you’re planning a stag do or heading away with a large group, this place is ideal. Having the site to ourselves made a huge difference; no worrying about disturbing other campers, just a great atmosphere where everyone could properly relax and enjoy the weekend.
The location is spot on as well. It’s easy to get to and it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the Lakes. There’s plenty to do nearby, whether you’re after a bit of adventure or just taking in the scenery.

One standout highlight was the ghyll scrambling, this was brilliant and something we’d highly recommend booking. Our guide, Liam, really made the day.

A couple of tips for anyone thinking of going:
Bring plenty of firewood, you’ll definitely make use of it in the evenings
Stock up on food and booze before you arrive
